A thousand days after the Maguindanao Massacre, a hundred perpetrators
still on the loose.
Increased military presence if you please, so that the witnesses that
are supposed to be protected will not be killed. If not, there may be
no one left to testify against them.
Is this not the year, 20 and 12? Are we not in the age of technology,
and not savagery?
I am against guns, but if this culture radiates to Visayas and Luzon,
as it would most certainly will, if it hasn’t yet already, you may
find, many other peaceloving citizenry, as well as I, moving about the
offices, in coat and tie, with baby armalites replacing the messenger
bags.
Prove that justice can be felt on lawless streets, and not only on
halls housing hapless, almost defenseless, Chief Justices.
If you are helpless to protect us, we will protect ourselves, and let this be, once again,
the Wild Wild SouthEast
